Leadership Oakdale
Leadership Oakdale gives participants an overview of the various inner working of business, government, agriculture, health services, education, social/cultural, and communication in our area. This is a great opportunity for potential leaders to gain a well-rounded educational and networking experience in Oakdale.
Tuition for each participant is $500. Tuition is nonrefundable and must be paid prior to the first leadership meeting to go towards the Oakdale Chamber Foundation for scholarships.
Oakdale Leadership Program requires full participation and attendance. Time commitment is one day per month for ten months starting in February. The program focuses on developing and enhancing leadership skills and provides exposure to a wide range of subjects including:
- Agricultural
- Business and Industry
- Economic Development
- Education
- Health Care/Social Services
- History and Culture
- Law and Public Safety
- Local Government
- Media Relations
- Team Building
